Our Purpose
The homebuilding industry is a vital part of our local economy, much less our way of life. Homebuilders are called upon to develop our communities in which we live in and they do a pretty darn good job with very little acknowledgement. Now homebuilders and specialty-trade contractors are called upon to do even more. And Wasteknot Recycling wants to acknowledge them in advance and as often as possible! As efficient and cost-effective as the homebuilding community is when building our new homes, there is still a significant amount of waste produced each day that ultimately ends up in our landfills unnecessarily. Wasteknot Recycling is doing something about this and in the process, we’re saving as much of our beautiful forestry as we can. At a cost savings to the homebuilding community, Wasteknot is coordinating with our local homebuilders and a select group of specialty-trade contractors to remove as much lumber debris from our jobsites as possible before it gets to the landfills. This saves everybody time and money. It keeps our jobsites cleaner and safer. And more importantly in the long run, it gives our forest a chance to grow for our future generations to enjoy. After all, 20,000 trees (and growing) can’t all be wrong!

What We Do
Here at WasteKnot Recycling we keep the valley’s developing communities cleaner and safer by recovering lumber from construction waste; preventing it from going to landfills with the garbage. We send a 6yd. stinger truck into action and recover all the useable lumber material. They will drop off an empty container in front of a house, then pick up the full container and redirect it to our sorting areas where the useable lumber can be obtained. As our sorting crews sift through and separate all the material, the non useable material goes back into the original 6yd containers and the acceptable material is deposited into our 40yd containers. Once our 40yd container is full, the sorting crew will call it in and our semi's will come drop off an empty container and take the full container back to our facilities where the material can be unloaded, cut down, remanufactured, and put back into the construction industry for use another day! Working with other trades throughout the communities, we help keep the valley cleaner and brighter 5 days a week. In doing so, we are also helping to preserve our beautiful and magnificent forest lands so that generations to come can enjoy them as we have.
